President Trump's Feud With LaVar Ball

For anyone who might have missed it, President Trump just returned from a trip to Asia. Among the other diplomatic tasks he undertook while traveling, he found time to negotiate the release of three American college basketball players who had been arrested in China for stealing a pair of sunglasses.

Upon their release, the three players had to be prompted by the President before they thanked him. Meanwhile, LaVar Ball, the father of one of the kids, outright refused to thank President Trump, or even acknowledge that he was the main reason his son was back on American soil. Adding insult to injury, Ball came back to state that if anyone deserved any form of gratitude, it was Chinese President Xi.

Everyone wants to make President Trump out as being so petty for calling LaVar Ball out for his refusal to thank him for negotiating his delinquent son’s release from a Chinese jail. What they fail to acknowledge however, is that if anyone but Donald Trump were President, those idiots would have been falling all over themselves to get in front of any TV camera that gave them the time of day. They would have been begging TV stations to let them come on to publicly thank the President and prolong their 15 minutes of fame, before sinking back to their lives of unrecognizable mediocrity.

Of course, if anyone but Donald Trump were President, those TV stations wouldn’t have to be begged. They would be the ones trying their damndest to get the little petty criminals to come on with them to hopefully give them a ratings spike. And not just at the hope of one of them making a negative comment about President Trump.

Unfortunately, hating Trump is popular these days, or at least the liberal media tells us it is. So they continue to push only the rhetoric that advances their hate-filled anti-Trump agenda.

President Trump shouldn’t HAVE to call out LaVar Ball and the three kids, because the media should have done it for him!

Can you imagine if President Obama had gotten Otto Warmbier released from North Korea and his parents then refused to thank Obama or even acknowledge that he had an integral role in his release? The media would go ballistic! They would jump all over them, calling them ungrateful racists and bigots for daring to shun our first black President!

But, sadly Obama didn’t care enough to negotiate Otto Warmbier’s release. Instead he told his parents to stay silent, and then left Otto there to die.
